This is the start of a vest project which i had in the back of my head for sometime. I found the quilted bodywarmers in a shop over the weekend

Thank you, A little bit more on it tonight, a ventile pocket across the back. Now i got to work out the front pockets is will be in ventile too

A little bit more work on the vest, shoulder pad. I have a prob with my S/M it will not go through the pockets and flaps, so i'll have to take it to a lady i know to stitch them on.

Just picked up my vest from a lovely lady who i got to know locally to stitch the pockets , flaps and button holes for me.

that really is looking very good Andy.

Did you leave the outer edge of the pockets unstitched so they could be used as hand warmer pockets ?

I was going to put hand warmers, but the pockets are a little small and with all the stitching i do not think i would get my hands in. The pic is of my youngest son.

I've just figured out it needs something Andy - it needs two extra buttons so that the pocket flap(s) can be buttined in the "open" position!
