Trip Report Quick overnight

Beautiful crisp night, loads of deer around, had a stag following me for a little while on my morning walkabout (rut or is it normal for them to be completely unperturbed by us humans?) bit unnerving but a bit special too I thought.

Great pics and story. Close encounter with a stag at this time of year is half wonder and half panic. You won't forget that trip.

I was in Grizedale forest last week, and at 3am I went for a pee, and a Stag barked behind me about 15m away. I didn't half jump!
