Looking at [URL="http://www.bwtechnologies.com/survivor_4i.html"]this site [/URL] which the S4 is based on it appears it'll filter about 350 litres of water before it needs replacing and you then buy a new one

£30 a filter.

About 9 pence per litre then eh? Which doesn't seem that bad I suppose.

Hopefully the filter lasts well between uses in it's little storage pot.

I wonder what the flow rate is like? if some of those sports bottles are anything to go by, you could well develop a puckered expression after 350 litres
