Hi Folks,

Just spotted Spyderco UKPK C94PDBL blue FRN scale CPM S110V steel are available on Amazon for £61 with free shipping if you have prime. That’s less than half the price I can see them anywhere else.

iMHO that’s a cracking price. I’ve grabbed one.

Flagging in case anyone else needs one. I don’t expect they will be there for long at that price.

I’m nothing to do with Amazon. This is a public service announcement. :)

So I hope I’m not breaking any forum rules.

It's worth noting that these come up occasionally on Amazon for that price, but you may need to wait many months for it to arrive. Sometimes quicker, but other times months, and I mean months!

Very tempting, but temptation is tempered by stuff I read on other forums. This is a quote lifted from Blade Forums, where it was sent from Spyderco to a member asking about buying from Amazon.

I think most companies say the same thing about what they consider grey imports that undermine the RRP.

I’ve had several Spyderco from Amazon before, All 100% pukka and genuine. I’m sure the ukpk will be the same.
 
Be careful with these. Amazon do a few good UKPK deals, but they can take weeks or months to arrive. Sometimes they get cancelled or allocated to third party sellers to fulfill over orders. And as they come from Amazon EU, and also further afield you may not get the exact item ordered. Seems like a loophole they sometimes sneak through that sometimes gets closed. It’s happened to me twice with this and a Manix.

My delivery date is showing as mid Dec for the order I placed last week. I’ll update this thread when the ukpk does (or doesn’t!!) arrive.

11th Jan 2025 is the delivery date currently advertised for new orders.

Mine is showing late December as well.

Remember, Distance Selling laws mean that you can return the item *for any reason* up to 14 days after it arrives. So on the small off chance it’s fake, you legally are entitled to your money back even if they disagree with you. And worst comes to the worst, you’d be entitled to raise a charge back if Amazon were unwilling to fulfil their legal obligations.
