Crete is a beautiful island and the Greek people are fantastic, she'll have a wonderful time for sure.

Thanks Richard. There's a while before we need to do too much about kit, and I probably have a lot of the kit, but I tend to old school heavy kit, which may not be suitable for her, at about 5' 4" and seven stone, I will have to look at lightweight kit.

We had a lovely holiday in Crete a few years back. Lovely island, lovely beaches and Knossos was FAB!! Our hotel was near one of the places where there some turtles, but we didn't see any. I do remember snorkelling near Chania(spelling?) and saw seahorses!!
