It's surprising how long food lasts in decent cans and jars.....but I reckon the Baking Powder will have had it's day. If there was any damp at all, it's dead.

In all honesty it looked dry, smelled as good as some bought yesterday... felt airtight when taking off the lid.
No damp or watermarks on the cardboard container.

Hey, you're speaking to the lady who has a bottle of 1001 carpet cleaner in the cupboard....and the price sticker says 1/11d 
It still works, I just use a tiny wee amount to clean the doormats....it belonged to my MIL and she's dead over fifty years, so heaven know how old the stuff is.
Modern stuff is carp in comparison, and I'm down to the last half inch of the stuff !
You could try a pinch of the baking powder in hot water, if it bubbles then it's still good
