Nice one fella. A similar thing happened to me the other week.
After returning to my Landy on the side of a wood I was working in, one of the lads left a Sycamore Burr on the bonnet, saved from side of a felled tree.
Working on it now and it has a fantastic splodge of heartwood in the centre.

Cheers guys, Hugo and i found a huge Beech burl the other day, but all the time the tree is healthy it's staying where it is, i doubt (hope) anyone else would go and get as it's quite a distance out from town
