As well as making a few more blades, including these 2, only slightly modified, 17th century French Trade knives, I have being practising my filework. about the poor pics, I don't seem to be able to get them right at the moment.

The larger one is 232mm long, the cutting edge is 105long, 28mm wide. The smaller knife is180mm long, cutting edge 82mm long, 2omm wide. The little one is going to be a necker. See how close the blade shapes are to some of our "modern" bushcraft knives!

What do you think?
:)

Ahem... I have shrank the pics on Photobucket to 325x240, and yet they still come up too large on the thread:confused: what I am doing wrong?

Nope.... they look alright to me... not overly large at all. My browser tells me they are 320X240.... and they fit in the thread just fine.

Great work by the way... keep it up
