Pot hook spoon

I was asked to carve a pot hook on the spoon handle here's what I came up with still needs work.
Wood is maple

Thanks that was the look I was going for saw plenty of them made never cared for them usually to much a pita to make

Simple but useful idea, beats tipping your brew or dinner into the fire when it slips off the normal improvised stick !

Does it fit the lid too ?

Hey Paul thanks nope it doesn't fit the lid. Haven't really tried that yet off to the wood pile thanks for the idea
