Poor mans Kydex

On our USA cousins site I saw a thread for recycling plastic milk bottles as a quick Kydex susbstitute
Well I had a go. I used a plastic sauce bottle. Trickier than I thought but wont shake off so it will serve its purpose and protect the edge.

I had an old Skinner and Johnson Kent pattern I picked up at a boot sale (flea market) that was in a rusty, chipped and bashed state

I cleaned her up with awire brussh, took the brazel off the poll and sharpened her.

Did some fairish feathers so I'm happy and know she should stay sharp while carried

Plastic piping can also be re-modelled with the aid of a hot air gun.

I've seen that somewhere as well (did you do a tutorial for it on here a while a go?). Thanks for reminding me. I'll pass it on to the USA lot

No, but there was a tutorial in Practical Boat Owner magazine some time ago.
