Oh, if they make this, they probably will make also replicas of the original ones if they become rare.

Good news!
Apparently all the Polish lavvus are gone, but Military Mart are making replicas.
Number 4 in the lavvu choices.
Hobsons 3 hole Tent/Poncho is here.. we have tried our best to make this tent as close to the real thing as possible. Please see pictures comparing material. With this item you get 2 X poncho / shelter halves and 2 sets of poles. Weighs 3.8kg complete with poles and pegs. Please note button holes are very tight and first use may require a little care and time.

How do you get on with your tent mate? I’m looking at getting one of these, either from this website or I’ve found a used with which is being sold alongside a stove.

Also I’ve heard a cheap and effective way to pitch is with a washing line pole? Do you always hang from above to allow more space / access inside?

I love mine for winter camping, provided you don't have to hike to far. I've found the Polish lavvu to be absolutely bombproof, but heavy.
By not using the centre pole, makes the lavvu a lot easier to use. If I use an internal bipod, (you don't need a tripod) I just use a couple of fallen, straightish branches, and half a tennis ball, to protect the canvas at the apex.
IMG_20201115_135537.jpg You could also just hang it from a tree.In the summer a half lavvu set up can be all you need.

I just recently acquired a Lavvu, and looking at the different Mods it certainly gives it huge amount of versatility. I love the extra bit in the middle to extend it. I’m going to add a skirt around the bottom and zips, not sure about adding a stove jack or modify the arm slits. I’m replacing the inner pole with carbon fiber telescopic tubes to reduce some weight.
Looking forward to using it with the stove.

So finally used it last weekend with my Titanium Stove and loved it.
My buddy used his Onetigris Rock Fortress with his own Tigris Stove.
Big difference as expected with the size, my Lavvu small compact and loads of room for one man. Rock Fortress absolutly Huge, minus the stove 6 man no probs.
He cooked a stew, I cooked a curry all very Yummy.

Off this weekend for a Light Weight Session so completly different kit.
