I wonder if any of you wonderful people can help give me some information about my great grandad's pocket watch, which I was given today.

I know it's a Jaeger-leCoultre and was issued to a large number of servicemen during the war. It is marked with the war office crowsfoot and G.S.T.P for general service temporary pattern. There is then a serial number 263046 and XX, can anyone tell me anything specific about this watch from these markings?

Thanks

I do know that Jaeger-LeCoultre are very highly spoken of and a lot of them eminently collectable.......Top drawer kit, that :)
