Photo' heavy ?

Thanks to a great swap with 'beech' I've been itching to get out with my new Firebox stove but the rain's been stair-rods since last Wednesday this morning was blue sky and sunny though so I set off for Grass woods at Grassington again as it's only about 15 miles away.
Parked up and set off uphill passing a walled hollow (hut foundation ?) any Archaeologists care to comment

I'd no route in mind just a wander uphill, there were x3 Buzzards mewing and doing aerobatics above the trees but wouldn't pose for a photo so I carried on uphill

and passing another walled hollow

found a clearing for lunch and gathered just a few small sticks, dry ones were hard to find

found some dry grass and made a nest with Birch bark

set the Firebox up

Wow! it was going in no time even with damp wood

cut some kabanos up

and added them to a Chilli Couscous with added spices in a roasting bag

1/2 cup of boiling water and into a 'cosy' while I made a brew with the rest of the water

it was then time to pack up

and set off back (downhill)

cut a Hazel on the way down

The Firebox is superb off out again with it soon, this was the first trial run so more cooking next time
