What was planned as a group trip ended up just me going solo - weekend round Ladybower/Derwent Reservoirs and the Howden Moors. My first time out for a long, long time but thoroughly enjoyed it 
Will post up some Memory Map images to show the route taken tomorrow.

That hill in the first photo? This is the view from the other side, still looking north. Ladybower itself is covered by the trees, Big & Little Crook hills in the centre
Setting up camp in the same plantation - it's only about 4pm, but wanted to be setup before dark as at this point all kit was untested

From Derwent I went east, up onto the Howden Moors - looking back south-east to Derwent
Looking back west you can see the Big & Little Crook hills to the left of centre, with the hill I pretty much camped on to the right on centre
On the moors, looking south you can see the Ladybower bridge at Ashopton
Looking east on the moors towards Lost Lad
Looking west towards Ladybower valley
On top of Lost Lad
West towards Ladybower
Wheel Stones on the Derwent Edge
That's it really - had pub lunch then came the decision, spend another lonely night outside then walk 3 miles to Bamford trainstation, or walk the 3 miles in one hour with full load right then to catch last train home to comfy bed and warm embrace. The latter won out and I came home!
