Paypal Confused

OK guys, I want to sell some books on the site and I have a paypal account but for the life of me I cant figure out how to recieve money, or more correctly, who pays for the transaction and how much is the charge? Ive been going round in circles on the PayPal site for about an hour and im about to pull my own head off!!
Any help would be appreciated.

is simples mate....

1. become a full member (without this you cannot sell here)
2. post up your items for sale
3. take your deal to pm
4. once deal is struck - give the buyer your pp email address
5. buyer will send you the money and it will appear in your paypal account
6. go out and spend the balance on lots more lovely bushcraft kit

you take a small hit on the amount payed

Thats the problem, What the heck is my PayPal address? All I have is my own normal email adress that is used as part of my login details. I cant find any reference to a pp address anywhere on the paypal site.
I know such a thing exists because I vaguely remember paying for stuff on here using the sellers PP addy.

its essentially the address you use as your 'username'

Your paypal address should be the same as your email...I.e when someone pays you with paypal you pm them your email address and they pay you!

If you get the payer to send it as a gift then you won't incur any fees either

but they will get charged a fee if they dont have money in their Paypal account and it has to transfer from their bank directly etc

fees are 20p per transaction plus 3.4% if a normal paypal transaction taken from the money you recive
