Paul Smith Primitive Pottery Day

If I attend a course or do of some kind I won't always shout about it across forums and social media but I am with the recent Paul Smith Primitive Pottery day that I've just attended.

Hosted near Basingstoke by Dan (Bushcraft UK Wilderness Living Skills) Aylmer we were taken through the properties of clay, made simple stuff like beads and then progressed until we were doing various pots and the like.

This was the first one that they had run but it was brilliant and nice to do something that I have no real knowledge of. Dan provided a snacky lunch and if they run more it is worth mentioning that you would be advised to bring a container to take your creations home in, and that due to the need for the clay to sit for a week before firing you'll have to do it yourself.

This is a Youtube vid and blog I did about it. I can definately recommend it.
