This summer I tried to bake bread in my pan mess kit. I "pimped" the dough with seeds of stinging nettle.

I collected the seeds with the small branches in the pan:

Then they where roasted carefully over the alcohol stove without any fat.

I made a dough out of wheat flour, dry yeast and salt:

For rising up I done the closed pan next to a fire for about an hour:

After that, I have done the pan on hot ash and covered it with some ember. I baked it for about a three-fourths hour:

The "dent" in the plate of the messkit isnt suited for baking ^^ but you can scrape of the black surface:

the nettle seeds are very tasty and gives a nuttily flavour to the bread.
