Ive got a wood stove for my tipi and want to bring it back to its former glory. Its covered in serfice rust which ive treated with a wire brush and some rust cure. I want to spray paint it black, but dont know what to spray it with.

What would people recommend as a high heat resistance paint spray ?

Cheers,

Paul

Hopefully someone a bit more in the know will put you right for this one, but I was of the impression that a dedicated stove paint may be better, the matt black stuff, I had some to touch up my woodburner.

Hope that helps

There is a lot of BBQ paint about in a couple of colours, Hammerite and Wilko sell them, they will work well. You may get small areas where extreme heat will eat away at the paint but in general these are too small to worry about.
