Outdoor Research brand, any good?

They make the best gaitors money can buy, I haven't used any of their other products but I would be surprised if you were disappointed. Glyn.
 
My wife just bought some of their Flurry gloves from Cotswold for her winter comute (too cold for her normal gloves) - very impressed. OR generally has a very good reputation, but being a US brand without a huge amount of coverage over here, I'm not surprised that its a bit of a dark horse.

You could buy from REI, but the shipping will really ramp up the price. On the other hand, Wildtrak stocks much of their stuff, and a quick look found similar gear -

I've used their gaiters (which were utterly superb), gloves (ditto) and one of their really lightweight waterproof jackets (brilliant). The stuff is very well thought out and extremely well made.
