Hi guys not posted on a while but I've been out in a local woods for the last couple of Tuesdays , initially was just to chill out a little but I've decided to make a little camp where I can take my 6year old and 5 year old to to teach them a little about bushcraft

That was the first wee chill out day then I went back up the following week

Hey guys wee update from yesterday

Despite the crazy rain fall in Glasgow I Managed to brace it and head up the woods I managed to build the second wall just need to back full the gaps now. I also built a little table to sort out the cooking while the fires running.

Next on the camp agenda is to line the fire pit at the bottom and to use the brick I found in an upturned tree root to make a surround on it that why I can place a grill on it to. After that I'm going to make a tripod and use it to support a ridgepole to build a lean to but I'm going to use my kids help with that so there really involved to

Great score with the bricks. They'll go a long way to cooking success. I'd be happy to take little kids there.

Just a suggestion: away off in the distance, you might want to organize a discrete place
when somebody "has to go!"

Hard to remember the last time I had a meal cooked over an open fire.
