Our Holiday - Peak District and North Wales

Evening folks,

Here's a link to my pictures of our holiday to Castleton, Peak District and Bryn Elltyd, North Wales. I only shared them amongst close ones initially but some have drawn attention and one's been picked for photo net's "photo of the day" for tomorrow (forgive the bragging, it's more shock!), so I reckon others might like a look for the landscapes, mines, all that. As with all my pics I've worked on them a lot, there's still a fair few true to nature though.

Peak District was my dream, I've very few words that can say how it felt to be there, I felt incredibly lucky. Our first day in North Wales I found myself overwhelmed, I've felt it before when coming from 8 months in North Italian mountains straight to the streets of New York - just, rar man. Got used to it pretty quick though!

Castleton is a great spot, I used to there all the time when I was little. I used to love climbing up mam tor.

I grew up round those parts and miss it dearly. The Vale of York (where I am now) is just too flat. No landscape. Now the Peak District, that's real landscape.
