Sold Original German army mountain rucksack.

Great bit of proper cavas kit, 70ish years old so obviously not in new condition but still loads of life left. Lid still has very good waterproofing.
All the buckles and buttons are aluminium and working fine.

Includes after market or later issue nylon pads for the shoulder straps, tight to get on and off, extra comfortable when carry heavier loads.

Selling as I have to many bags and I need to downsize all my gear.

Little patches on the bag are covering the tiny frayed holes shown in the pictures and there is a small sewn repair on on of the side pouches which do accept a 1l Nalgene bottles but very tight! I think the bag is 35 litres but it is like a tardis.

Think of a frameless, pre-modified Swedish lk35.

The capacity is exactly 34 litres.

The shoulder pads exist nowadays in a low quality copy but yours seem to be the later issued original ones that where constructed to make this rucksack more comfortable.
In the end this rucksack was exactly issued how you offer it here, together with the shoulder pads.

The Swiss army field bottle 90 fits with the mug so perfectly into the side pouches of the German army mountain rucksack as if one would have been issued with the other and if it was tailored to fit. The BW field bottles fit only without tge mugs. The swiss field bottle 84 or 95 is by far the best opinion if you intend to put bottles into the side pouches, what's very practical of course if you use this rucksack as EDC in town or however and don't want to carry your water at the belt.

The here in the back compartment missing German army folding mat exists in a high quality copy by Multimat , called Adventure 4 XL. It works in the rucksack as a back padding nearly like a frame and is really nice to have.
