Very chuffed with these guys they were all tiny babies awhile ago had to build bark covers for them so the birds didn't eat them all and now a pregnant mom to be .

All spiders (except those of the family Uloboridae) have venom. However most cannot pierce human skin, and those that can usually can't inject enough venom to have any significant effect on a human. Spider venom works ten times better on insects than it does on mammals. A large female like that in the picture could give a painful bite, but the venom wouldn't be anything to worry about.
Normally, if asked spider or chameleon, I would always reply chameleon as I find reptiles fascinating, chameleons in particular. But on this occasion I must confess to being in love with that orb spider, a truly beautiful creature. Lovely pics
All are wild chameleons indigenous to the Cape Peninsula - Bradypodion pumilum the ords spiders get blown around by the wind as babies , last year we had 3 this year we got 16 in one tree alone .
