Just had a clear out of the kitchen hide, found old stainless steel flask. Any good idea's for turning it into a stove.

you could try making one of these,

Or if its possible (this is coming straight off the top of my head so may be considered verbal diahorrea) make a, for want of a better term 'reverse kelly kettle' - leave the internal water container untouched but open up the bottom and drill holes at the top of the outer wall, so the flames can pass round the outside of the inner vessel.

There you go, one proven design and some random wanderings of a tortured mind.

I take a small 0.5 ltr stainless flask with me,i use it to store left over boiled water from the pan,come the next brew time not as long to wait
