One thing that made me think was; what if the former in "fight or flight" kicked in and the poor pooch gets hurt! Maybe I'm a softy and know why a mate talked my Ex out of throwing me a "surprise" party when I use to put the firearm away as soon as I got home from work!
Funny though, though may leave me emotionally scared if ever done to me - me no like spiders that much. (apart from jumping spiders, they're cute).

Im not sure if its staged at the end, but the poor girl acting the ghost got a nasty beating if it wasn't. Many years ago, i visited a japanese haunted house attraction in a theam park. Part of the setup was anamatronic the rest was park actors dressed up. One chap got a nasty smack from the martial arts student when he popped out at just the wrong moment
