Just a little advice required please guys...
If I'm using camellia oil to protect/clean my bush knife, am I still ok to use the knife for food prep? I only ask because I saw on Mr Mears' website that camellia oil contains liquid paraffin and presumed this not to be a tasty ingredient to add to my bushy meals? Not as into self-poisoning as perhaps I once was...

Any thoughts much appreciated!

Liquid paraffin won't poison you, it is tasteless, inert and you can buy it in the chemists as a laxative, doubt you'll get enough on your knife to have that effect though. It's also sold in ikea as their chopping board treatment oil though I think there are better things to use.
