Exactly why I suggested salt, pepper and some butter to cook it in, why would you want to eat chorizo flavoured trout for instance???

Cos it's luverly...
I do like the taste of wild brown trout, just if I'm having a few over the course of a few days I like a bit of variance.
Well it's easy to carry and has it's own oil I guess.
Sadly I can't remember the last time I ate a wild brownie but I'd need alot of em before I fancied a change. (Makes mental note to self to choose camp spot near a source of wild brownies). Mmmmmm.
