Norway v's German Backpacks

I find my Norwegian bag to be pretty comfortable. I don't know if it is a sizing issue but I am 6'2" and pretty broad shouldered.

Ok that's the norwegien one totally ruled out. Especially after bumblers glowing praise of it .

Ideally what I'm looking for was between 25 and 35 ltres. And is basically going to hold a car based BOB or "OMG thats the Calmac ferries gone off again Bag".

Its probably not ever going to be carried that far, but Id rather have something thats comfortable to carry and pretty tough in case it is.

Any suggestions welcome, and thanks for the advise so far

I would get a Berghaus Munro, thousands of UK servicemen over the past 30 years can't be wrong.

The key with any traditional rucksack to make it comfy is to play about with how you pack it, we're the heavy items sit best etc

I have the Norwegian pack, but am interested in upgrading the straps. Is it possible to get hold of better straps rather than having to salvage them from another pack?
