Great seeing you all. Big thanks to Steve for sorting us out. Took loads of pics this time, a few of which will get their own threads.

Here's a few more. Will get more up over the next couple of days when I get more time and won't get shouted at. It's a beautiful spot without a doubt.
Thanks Steve and Neil for sorting this one out. Another great meet, had a great relaxing time good to see friends old and new. The wood as always was welcoming and peacefull.

This was my first meet, and I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed it, learned quite a few things, and got some ideas for additions to my kit.
Just want to thank those that helped me with the initial set-up of my tarp and hammock.
Definitely coming to more meets.

I was amazed at the amount of fungi me and my buddies found at the top end of the woods, the most ive ever come across in a single days searching!! :0) anyone who cares to help with some ID on the species would be greatly appreciated for my blog!

Great weekend lads. Was awesome to catch with sone of the old hands and meet up with new people. Sustained about 38 bites but I totally blame Snarf as they usually flock round him. First ground dwelling set up for me and special thanks to No Light Weight for helping me set it up. I could have been bitten or I might have missed him throw a hand full of drawing pins in my sleeping bag. Thanks to Two Dogs on the advice on how to pack a bergan as well.
The very last one is Jews ear, Auricularia auricula-judae. That's the only one I can name

Had a fantastic time! Thanks to woodspirits and nolightweight for doing the arranging/organising... A truly nice bit of english woodland, a nice to put some names to faces from the forum! I even enjoyed istvan's bannock bread! Thanks once again....... Jimbo...
