..depends if you like explosions! I'm an amateur fiddler, not someone who knows what he's doing - at least with stoves I haven't played with before!
Join Spiritburner.com and tell them your issues - they'll put you right in a flash. Lots on there with No 12s, and plenty of fettling advice on them. Rik uk3 might be able to help you on this as well - he's an expert on all things stove, and I'm pretty sure he's got a No 12!

No problem. Although on your head - literally - be it!
A couple of quick thoughts. Have you checked the washers - pump, fuel cap, pressure release valves? Try a bit of soapy water around all the joints when its pressured - but not lit! - to see if any leaks anywhere. Cleaning needle works properly (ie at the very least, can you see it above the jet when up, and it disappears when the handle turned down - I'm assuming its like the Optimus ones here..)?

Decided I'll probably set away from Durham at first light (4 am-ish) and get down there for lunch time-ish, wi' a bit o' luck. Weather say it's goin' tae hoik it down around 3pm, so if I've got my tarp up by then, it'll all be good.

after speaking to the farmer, it seems CP3 (see map link on OP) is ok to park on bit of a shower this afternoon but access track still good.

thanks for a great weekeweekend was a great meet even if i was only there till saturday afternoon. was a great to relax in a great wood. cheers for allowing me the extra early night. i will put up me photos later today, recovering from my birthday
