I have just been given these night vison binoculars they are retron RN-03 does anyone know anything about them and what there worth??? Amazing bit of kit built like a tank.

I found one reference to these on the net, no longer made & no-one seems to have any info, spares or ability to repair them. Seems they are another product in the pseudo-military stuff that flooded out of the USSR after the fall of communism. ............................Sorry not to have better news......................................atb mac

I didn't mean to sound disparaging about the binos; just that there seems to be little or no info available. They may well be a very good bit of kit, I've had a few things from the USSR which have been great.
I bought a small basic calculator at the Polish market in Berlin back when the wall came down, it cost 1 Dm. which at the time was equivalent to circa 30p and it gets used most days still; never even had to change a battery! I hope the binos turn out to be great, no reason why not, eh?....................................atb mac

I have had a play with them and with a head touch on and looking through them you can see rabbits easily due to there eyes reflecting the headtorchs light. It really helps identify them very fast. Great for hunting

I have a night owl, Israeli made night scope, absolute carp it is indeed, vision distorted and you would have to be leaning on your objective to be able to see it.
You get what you pay for that's for sure.
Nowadays I just wait for daylight to see what I want to see.
