Nexus

This is another sheath that i have been wanting to work up a design for and i finally got around to it yesterday.

Im not a big user of large blades but i always enjoyed attacking the tree's at the bottom of the garden with my Stromeng leuku so I got the Nexus a while ago to see what all the fuss was about and i am pretty impressed with it as a serious tool.

I also shy away from using a strap to secure a knife because they often get cut so i attached this one with a Chicago screw so that it can be removed and repaired / replaced as required, the belt loop was also attached with a Chicago screw so it can be swapped for a dangler loop if required.

How long did it take to make the sheath?

this is something I'd really like to have a go at - and as my other half is a saddler and has all the tools I'd really have any excuse not to

This one took most of yesterday because i was working through a few different ideas (in cardboard before i started on leather).
I originally thought about an elaborate design with a pouch for firesteel, tinder, sharpening stone and Fenix torch etc. (really just because i haven't made anything like that before) but in the end i decided just to keep it simple.
