New life to an Old knife

Found an old Zippo Folding knife blade in the shed yesterday that I broke yrs ago,So I had a play and made it into a fixed blade,using an old broken bank stick,Drilled 2 hole's and cut a slot and fixed it in place with 2 cut off nails.

Yeah I keeped the Threaded end of the bank stick Pommel end so if needed I could attach it to something else,like a longer stick so it could be used for abit of high tree pruning.
