England's most easterly point
I have just finished this Nessie. The blade is convex ground and very sharp, 3/32 (about 2.5mm) 01 tool steel.Overall, it's 215 mm and the cutting edge is 115mm long. As you can see the blade shape is a bit different from my other Nessie, with a 122 mm step from the handle to the blade edge. I have used 3 mm red liners, which is a bit thick, I think, but the wood scale were a bit thin and I wanted to use the wood because of the beautiful grain and colour of the Mexican Rosewood. The rounded handle is easy on the hand, and has a slight "waist".

The sheath is also a bit different from my normal fare. 3.5 mm veg tan leather, with some stamping. I think it compliments the Nessie nicely.

I thought it looked quite nice until I saw this...

liners do look like its gone a bit over board with the lipstick before a night out tho :lmao:
Now I can't get the image outof my head
Still think its a very nice knife, and the woodgrain is lovely.
The moon shaped stamping on the sheath is a nice touch.
Something about the shape of a Nessie....it just looks like its meant to be used.

That's a nice nessie and a lovely sheath there, great to see something a bit different! I'd say that sheath is the perfect compliment to the knife, a real nice mountain man look to it. No chance of your finger slipping onto that blade during use either, great stuff mate!

One of the nicest nessies I've seen. A nessie is a knife so easy to get wrong in my opinion. Not yours though mate, that one ticks all my boxes.
