Hi guys here's a few pics of the nearly finnished tipi stove ive been building.
Not the most portable perhaps but great for the odd canoe trip.

I just need to find a bag for the bits,im thinking about adding a water jacket around the s/steel flue base sort of a kelly kettle thing.

When built up its rock solid and boils a kettle quite fast when you remove the round disk and allow the flames contact with the pan

Cant wait to try this out in the tent when ive burned the galv off the flue.

looks the business, you no huddle up to your two Alsatians when out tho ?!

ive acquired a 20litre veg oil drum from the works canteen to play with making a stove from.

The flue is a few sections of 3"galv spiral ducting with connecting pieces.
These should be avalable from any ducting firm.

Hi there Russ,yes it took a while as i dont have anything to fold metal so had to tig weld it.
How's your leg?
