Lost in the woods
Fitted a new handle to a Spear and Jackson axe head I got recently from a boot market.
Ash handle and lots of TLC and wet and dry. Weight of head is 1 1/2 pound.
Hope you like it.

Thanks fellas, it has been a good day work wise as I have carved and fitted another handle to an axe I picked up last week, just needs a little sharpening and it is finished, mind you I have one less log to keep me warm over the Christmas holidays. :lmao:
Also polished the spine on one of Rays 30th anniversary Mora knives, looks much better now.

Will do Kepis mate, might as well bring the other one I made up today as well.
@ Rockmonkey, the wood came from the log you cut for me on our bimble, need another one three times as long for a couple of projects, you can carry it back for me if you like.

If we are changing plans slightly for Thursday, then yep!
Rucksacks all round and some ash to bring home!!!!!:)
Or a big piece of Burled Field Maple!!:naughty:
