Seriously tempted

Hmmm, maybe not

It's only at 1:50k and it's "selected" National Parks

If it's possible to upload the proper 1:25k from a PC then I could be up for giving one a go.

OK all,

I know it not the worlds best and IMO i think the Sat Map 10 is better unit overall, i was just putting it out there as a cheaper alternative :) but it can use any mapping from the memory map system V5 that you may already have which i think is a good idea, and to be able to use AA batteries would make it a lot more viable I think it is a good start.

Not for me. 1:50000; rechargeable batteries only; 8 hours battery life (8 hours!!) and reports that it isn;t too accurate.

I'm thinking of the new Dakota 20. Quite expensive £200 (plus another £100 for a half GB map). But it's getting very good reviews.
