New gadget for the bushy tea lover?

If you throw away the tea leafs will the tannin attack the local eco system, how do you safely dispose of yours?

I doubt it, given tea bags make good compost. Mine go on the fire.

You don't need any of 'em.

I just throw a few leaves in the mug. When I get near the bottom I top it up. Then I do that again, and possibly one more time. By then it's probably time to make another brew.

I've got one. They are not as good or light as a cheap plastic tea strainer.
