Net Making Demonstration

I will be demonstrating net making, giving free lessons and
displaying my fish traps and nets at the annual Goschenhoppen

I will be there August 12 only. A rope maker using an antique wooden
gear machine is there both days. Tony

maybe you could post some pics and a tutorial for the members who dont live where net making or fishing is or was common place.

This is a dip net. Fish drop into the sleeve of netting . A draw string at the bottom of the net opens to gather the fish. I have written instructions which can be found at;

Would it be possible to make a hammock using these netting methods using paracord or would it be too expensive

You can indeed make a hammock using net making techniques although as you mention paracord would be expensive. You can find hammock making instructions at:
