Nessmuk knife made from 01 tool steel

Hi, I had this idea in the back of my mind for some time , so i got round to making this neck knife.

The blade back from H/T.

The clean up.

Putting the handle on.

The handle after playing with acid and a hot air gun.
Now to make a neck sheath for the knife.

Very nice work,I have one of Guyceps the same dimensions and it works well as a knecker.

Yes the handle is fiddleback maple , dip in acid then put the hot air gun to it and cook it to it went brown ish. Then a light coat of brown leather dye

DO NOT PLAY WITH ACID ITS DANGEROUS

Absolutely one of the finest Nessmuks I've ever seen. Everybody has their interpretation of the lines of the blade. Many turn out to be not aesthetically pleasing, yours however is perfect, in my view.

All i done was draw many out line's on card to see if it looked good, before i got what i wanted.
