Needed a decent walk

Having a hard time of things at the moment, the illness of my lovely wife continues, and some much needed time out of the situation has been hard to organise. I made the most of it

This is Slindon, West Sussex. The folly is called Nore Folly, and was used as a sighting post to train WW2 pilots. The hut is an homage to an old rambler and is a lovely place to stop for a cuppa and a sandwich, though I used an old Beech copse for my sit down.

Thanks mate, that’s kind of you considering I roasted you the other day. Apologies, the little things pale into insignificance with what I have going on at the moment and it was actually me that was getting a bit self righteous.
