...OK, might not be. Could be a starling or female blackbird, I suppose, but it's nesting on top of a clothes rail in our shed (where we store costumes for the local am-dram company)

Ehm…..nice photo, and good to see the bird, but as a sometime wardrobe mistress….Ikea sell garment bags in packs of three very cheaply. They keep clothes clean, dust free and keep moths, etc., out too.

Adult female blackbird's have yellow bills.

Certainly not a Starling - looks like a Blackbird to me; local lore around these parts says that when you get a Blackbird nesting on your patch in plain sight, it'll be a top season in the garden

I was gonna suggest natural yoghurt but i don't think the bird will appreciate getting covered in it
