I recently tried to make a full tang bushcraft knife, but unfortunately during heat treatment it cracked. Undaunted by this setback I managed to make this knife from what would have been the handle.

The blade is 1/8" gauge plate, and the scales are walnut.
I find it very handy for whittling and detail carving.

Does anyone else have a favourite small knife?

That cool.I like it!BTW,what happened to cause the crack? What were you doing? What sorta steel is it?I may be able to help it not happening again...

Launditch 1 - it cracked when I quenched it after initial hardening, but since then I read an excellent tutorial on British Blades (should have done this first), but thanks for your concern.
