Just picked this up for my winter camping, so far very pleased. Toasty warm with a candle lantern (vents open of course) in minus 6 Celsius last night! It's a eureka 5 season tent (not sure what the 5th season is). Bought it off a guy who never used it, in fact had only put it up once to take the picture for the classified ad! Got it for $100 Canadian dollars!

That's a great price for a good tent. 5 seasons means full winter, high altitude/mountain pitches- should be bomb-proof!!!!

Well done!

My kit is very primitive other than my tent and pack (north face primero 60). I take my homemade knife and bowsaw , a Birch kuksa, birch spoon and a wood burning stove for cooking. Flint (brought back with me from my visit to the uk) and steel for fire lighting, and lots of wool for clothing. I live mostly off of bannock, chaga or pine needle tea while out. I get to camp on a pair of 70 year old snow shoes.....I would Prefer a canvas tent and Woodstove over my current tent but the price was too good to pass up!
