Repeat 100 times to myself I do not want any more custom knives no matter how much i like this one, i do not want any more custom knives no matter how much i like this one :lmao:

Oh that's a beauty. I like Marks work a lot anyway but that's a particularly fine example. Shape and proportion are sublime and that handles a peach. Is this going to be your main tool while away on your big trip? (Will keep you safewhile motorboating bear tummies :D )
Really nice you must be totally made up with her.

It will be my travelling companion for a long time i am sure, i haven't seen it in person yet but i am very impressed with the pics, as you know i have coveted Mark's work for a long while so i am glad i eventually plucked up to cohonies to commission one, hopefully i won't need to use it as a bear defence i'd hate to have to wipe my scat off it

specs are 3mm 01 with spalted hornbean handles on black liners with a 4 inch blade, i'll make sure she features in plenty of pics during my next adventure

I wasn't sure about the shape, but it looks fantastic with a handle with lines like that. Spalted hornbeam! I love hornbeam but have never seen any spalted stuff. Great purchase.

Seems like a rash promise about not buying more though... :)

Postie arrived in a timely fashion, holding a knife of this quality in your hand makes you wish you had ten hands so you could wield one in each paw

I imagine you're like a big bearded Cheshire cat with that beauty in yer mitts just now. Hope she's a constant companion through your upcoming trip and in the years to come. Remember, lots of pics or it didn't happen. :D

I'll remind myself of that if a bear starts chewing on my head in my sleep that it isn't happening cos i am not taking photo's of it
