But - how can you get a scandy grind on such a thin blade?

I can do scandi, see my second knife on the above link. Scandi is easier for me to do...The grind I do is not perfect as I do it by hand on the grinder, so do not expect perfection, but I can deliver a working knife that is razor sharp....
