Very good tutorial and useful tips about using vaseline and not dipping them for too long. My last batch was done with just candle wax but the next lot I do will be with your method.

Hi, yes they take a spark from Flint and steel but you do need to make sure they are fluffed up well

Just seen a video by Norwegian Bushcraft where he uses lamp oil instead of Vaseline, he reckons its better. Might be good to test it.
