My first knife

Hi,
I am new to this site, amazing posts and information. I am from Vancouver Island BC.

I finished my first knife for my friends birthday. The handle is of purple heart.

After I sent it off to him I missed the knife so I made myself my own yesterday, just glued the handles on. The material this time will be lacewood.

I do enjoy the work,, kind of a nice hobby. Now to learn some leatherwork.
