My First Knife

Hey guys,

This is a WIP of my first knife. Currently on hold while I wait for some Bog-Oak scales. This was all possible thanks to the help and kindness of David Bromley, of this forum. Top guy! I didn't take any pictures on some rose-styled file-work on the spine, but it'll look better once the scale are on, so you'll have to wait for it! Simple woody clone, but I'm damned proud of how it turned out. Enjoy!

The O1 blank

The template, a very slightly modified woody clone

First rough cut, mostly ground down on the belt

First run on the bevels. No slip-ups!

Second run complete. Shortly after this the file-work and pin/lanyard holes were cut. It might take a few more weeks because of upcoming camps, and work commitments, but expect a completed beauty soon!
