As im relitavley new to bushcraft i wanted my first knife to mean something,
I wanted it to be made by someone i know , made specialy for me.
Anyway being on the blackberry bushcraft group my mate Stu (Raikey) fresh out of the Bernard Manning school of charm
, said he would make me one.
I told him i wanted one similar to a woodlore, and left it with him.
I am more than happy with it and thinks he has done a cracking job.
He is even making me a firesteel to match.
I know your sick of hearing it but thanks again stu
After getting my knife i wanted a sheath and my other mate carl (mental nurse) took me to guest leather in horwich near bolton.
i told him what i wanted and he give me a price of £20, :yikes:
i thought that was very reasonable and gave him £25.
I am more than happy with my first knife and sheath as like all sentimental possetions they have a story with them, what do you think
two of Stus knifes ,mines the one at the back
